A busy three weeks

Its been a little over three weeks since I posted, and I'm not being very good at frequent updating, but I'm trying...The last two weeks have been BUSY! We've had a car show, a big birthday, 3 cases of strep throat in the house, Easter, and just our normal every day stuff.

Ben turned 3 on the third!! CANNOT believe I have a three year old! He's just so precious! He's definitely strong-willed sometimes, and can throw a fit like no other, but he's also a very good hugger, loves kisses, has the sweetest heart, and is a perfect, spunky little boy! We had his birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese's. He had SO much fun!! He played and played and played!! He played air hockey with random kids, ski ball and would throw the ball two lanes over, whack-a-shark, the carousel 200 times. He got lots of cool gifts! I don't think there really was one favorite. He really loved his Buzz lightyear shoes, Woody and Buzz dolls, and his Little Einstein present. Here are some pics of the occasion...

Our Easter was ok. Ben and I both had strep throat over the long weekend. Him on Thursday/Friday and myself on Sun/Mon. Didn't make for a very eventful weekend! Ben did get to go to Mom and Kendall's for their Easter egg hunt and cookout, while I stayed home and slept! Keisha took pictures for me so I would get to see what all I missed.

Micah is still doing great! He changes every day and is becoming very social. He talks and coos and tries to giggle. We took him for his 2 month checkup last week and he rolled over for the doctor! He's done this before at the house, but she was very pleased and said it was a meaningful rollover, not accidental! She said that's a 4 month milestone, so he's hit it early! He's not fattening up as well as she would like, and has gone from being in the 50th percentile for weight down to the 25th. He weighed 12lbs even and was 24 3/4 inches long. (90th % for height, tall guy!) He's such a good sleeper, sleeping around 10 hours at night, that we really have to get in all of the ounces she would like during the 10 or so hours he's awake during the day. We go back for a weight check again in 2 weeks.

Benjamin had his 3 year checkup on Saturday. Thankfully he doesn't get any more shots until Kindergarten, so his appointment wasn't as traumatic. It was interesting getting him to pee in a cup though! He did it no problem, and it was much easier than if he were a girl!! Ben weighed 37 1/2lbs and was 3ft4in tall. 90% for both! Our big boy!
